Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Starx Technologies LLC for the MeetFor apps and meetfor.app. By creating an account you accept them and our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use MeetFor
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. One account per person; keep your login private; you're responsible for what happens under your account.
2. What MeetFor is — and isn't
MeetFor helps people who want to do the same activity find each other nearby. We don't vet users, verify identities, or supervise meetups. Meeting someone from the app is your decision and at your own risk: meet in public places, tell someone your plans, and trust your judgment. MeetFor is not a dating service and is not a party to any arrangement between users.
3. Your content and conduct
You keep ownership of what you post and give us a license to host, display, and moderate it so the service works. Don't post or do anything that is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, deceptive, spam, or that infringes someone else's rights; don't post other people's personal information; don't use MeetFor to sell goods or services except as an event host describing an event; and don't scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, at our discretion and without refund.
4. Events and payments between users
Event hosts can state a price. MeetFor does not process those payments. Any payment for an event is between the host and attendees, on whatever terms they agree; we're not responsible for it, for refunds, or for the event itself.
5. Meet Pro subscriptions
- Meet Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store or Google Play: $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year (local prices may vary). Some plans include a free trial for new subscribers.
- Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription renews automatically at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Any unused trial is forfeited when you purchase.
- Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Refunds are handled by the store under its policies.
- Pro features (locked categories, event hosting, no ads) are available while your subscription is active.
6. Ads
The free tier shows ads from Google AdMob. Ad content comes from third parties; we don't endorse it.
7. Ending things
You can delete your account any time in Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive (content licenses, disclaimers, limitations, disputes) survive termination.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
MeetFor is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Starx Technologies LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for anything arising from your interactions with other users, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing).
9. Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, USA. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If you're a consumer in a jurisdiction that gives you non-waivable rights, nothing here limits them.
10. Changes and contact
